KingCalDro from Long Beach California, started his career as a independant artist in 2009. Growing up in Long Beach KingCaliDro had to avoid the temptation of the streets, Dro prides himslf on avoiding getting locked up or suffering the pit falls of street gangs and gang violence. KingCaliDro is holding up the tradition of his predecessors like Snoop Dogg, Warren G and The Eastsidaz by creating new musc that captures the old school Long Beach sound. His dedication to the city that give him inspiration and challanges as an artist, father, and community leader has lead him to creat a brand he calls the "Last Blue City", a tribute to the blue ocean the surrounds the city of Long Beach and the reconition of the many blue rag gangs that once dominated the streets of his childhood. KingCaliDro saids "Music saved my life", " I saw most of my freinds get go to prison and I lost a few to gang violence", " I'm blessed that I had music to hold me together".
